Real innovation is rarely planned. It often arises from a problem, or serendipity.

Right now, almost all those I am talking to are taking precautionary measures regarding Covid19. Working from home is high on the list.

And most of these same people have climate change, in particular carbon reduction, on their agenda.

It begs the obvious question. If we can reduce travel, and therefore carbon, for a period because we have to, why can’t we do it on a more permanent basis?

It doesn’t need a course, or training. We can use what we have been compelled to do as an experiment, to explore possibility. All that is needed is curiosity, support, and open minds.

For those who want to, this is an important opportunity.

(If anyone wants to join our own experiment on this, mail me.)
