A week is indeed a very long time in politics. On the one hand, it is hard to grasp the magnitude of moral, philosophical and strategic changes we are seeing as the old order erupts, and new alliances form. Such is the collective discombobulation that respectable journals wonder out loud if a President of the USA might be a Russian asset, and whether the USA should now be considered an unreliable partner. All very Alice in Wonderland.
