Impatience
We seem to live in a curious time where the principal role of leaders is "to Get Things Done". Management more than Leadership. Tactics more than Strategy.
GTD eclipses the process of deciding what to get done, as well as the possible longer term impact of GTD might be. After two months, what might most politely be described as an eccentric process to appoint a new Prime Minister in the UK concludes tomorrow. We can be fairly confident there will then be a tsunami of rhetoric that promises certainty by Friday.

Only later might there be an inquiry into why the stable door was left open for two months giving the horse plenty of time to not so much to bolt, as to amble into the distance.
