Reflections

Today is a day for reflection on what matters; our willingness to look after each other regardless of consequences when circumstances demand it.

It is also a powerful reminder to those in power who have the ability to moderate those circumstances such that demanding sacrifice, physical or economic, is the last resort, not a matter of political dogma, expediency or machismo.

Every one of us is a remarkable creation.
