Perspective
It's been said that we don't know we've lived through a revolution until it's over. So what part do we play when that revolution is likely to take several lifetimes?
The thought arose as I read Jonathan Salk's "A New Reality". It is a republication of work, by his son, of a perspective of the scientist and thinker who gave us the polio vaccine. It is a short book, peppered with pictures and graphs, and just enough words to stop me in my tracks. Its presentation reminds me in many ways of a children's book, such is its ability to capture the imagination and its demand to be read at one sitting. And then read again.
