Patrick Fox was born on July 15, 1883, in Boher, Ireland. In 1912, at 28, he decided to board the Titanic, likely to join relatives he had living in the United States. On the night of April 14, around 11:40 pm, the Titanic struck an iceberg about 400 miles south of Newfoundland. The collision caused the ship to begin sinking. Tragically, there were not enough lifeboats for all the passengers and crew. Patrick Fox did not survive the sinking. His body was never recovered.
